This quest covers a variety of topics in 8th English Language Arts. The first portion of the quest reviews types of nouns and pronouns. Then students are asked to think about literary symbolism in relation to themselves. The third portion of the quest reviews sentences editing by having the students edit a few sentences for punctuation or word choice mistakes. Students will then be tasked with reviewing figurative language and general poetry information via Quizzizz.com. The last portion of the quest involves listening to a poem on Youtube and determining the theme and tone of the poem.
