In Conquering the OST, the students must begin training themselves for an encounter with the Beast (The Ohio State Test or any other state test). This quest provides review training sessions for 7th grade mathematics using Big Ideas Math. Each assignment should be provided as a hard copy packet, to be completed weekly. The assignments are currently attached to each task allowing the students to complete the tasks even if they forget their packets. Any students completing the quest to the Game Master's specifications will be invited to a class celebration. I hope you and your students enjoy the quest. A follow-up quest will follow, as our students finally meet the Beast face-to-face.
