This is a cross-curricular quest where students explore the 5 forms of energy, through 5 different science experiments, all while engaging in a real-life fictional scenario. By way of assessment, students use what they have learned about the 5 forms of energy and describe them using figurative language. To complete the quest students will need: a rubber band 2 pieces of string or yarn (one about 6 inches, the other about 3 feet) a washer or small weight of some sort 2 plastic, foam, or paper cups a battery (9-volt or AA) a small Christmas light (led light) to hook up to the battery
