In this quest, students will virtually research and explore Dickens' time in the Victorian era. Students will learn about Victorian era social customs, gender roles, diseases, workhouses, currency, education, and all about Charles Dickens. This lesson is a great pre-reading activity right before reading Dickens, such as A Christmas Carol.
