This quest centers on Grade 10 Common Core Standards with Marjane Satrapi's Persepolis as the anchor text. Teams will explore the land of Persepolis, choosing the order in which to complete their Independent and Team missions, building the necessary knowledge and skills for their central project: designing a PR Campaign on modern-day Iran, dispelling misconceptions that people may have of this Middle Eastern nation. The missions also provide opportunities for students to be involved in social justice causes similar to the activism of the author and her family.
